For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (NIV) The road being narrow simply means you can't go about your own way of life and create your own lifestyle to make it to heaven, and it is only by accepting Jesus Christ and putting your trust in him - that is your only hope of going to heaven. The narrow road does not stand or how many people will walk upon it, it stands for the fact there is only one small path you can take to make it to heaven and it is not a vague term that means you can live all sorts of different ways which would represent a wide path if so. “Enter through the narrow gate.
